Our Mission

We are the VA Foreign Medical Services Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping U.S. veterans living abroad—especially in underserved regions—access the medical care, disability compensation, and support they rightfully earned through their military service.

Since 2017, we’ve delivered life-saving care to over 500 American veterans in the Dominican Republic and beyond, many of whom have no access to VA hospitals or local support. These heroes served our nation—now it’s our turn to serve them.
